[Writing] About Friends

Some people choose friends who are different from themselves. Others choose friends who are similar to themselves. Compare the advantages of having friends who are different from you with the advantages of having friends who are similar to you. Which kind of friend do you prefer for yourself? Why?

I have both kind of friends, the friends similar to me and the friends different from me. Each kind of friends has benefits to me and helps me a lot.

I choose friends who are similar to me so that I can stay with them easy. Since we have the same characteristics, the same behavior and the same interesting and hobbies, we can soon understand each other and have a topic to talk about easily. I feel comfortable to have friends who understand what I think about, and so do my friends. We know what we like and what we dislike. And we can talk about our hobbies and our favorite kind of music, singers and records.

I also choose friends who are different from me. Different kinds of friends may be helpful on my weakness. Since I am inpatient and I usually try to do everything quickly despite of mistakes, a patient friend may help me careful to avoid some serious mistakes caused by my inpatient. Different kinds of friends may also make me think different from what I thought before.

It’s quite difficult to me to decide which kind of friends I prefer. Friends similar to me make me feel comfortable and easy, and friends different from me grow me up by the different way we doing things and the different thoughts we think about. Even though sometimes they make me uneasy to stay with them, they help me to be multiple thinking so that I can consider something in different ways.

If I have to choose one of them now, I prefer friends who are different from me. I think that it’s my best time now to learn, and friends different from me may help me learn what I never thought before and make me grow up to be matured. Although it may make me feel uncomfortable, it’s helpful.
